Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
