In a bizarre crossover event that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the official announcement, "A strange encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of prohibited rituals and fearsome changes echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine cult.
The adventure centers on "strange tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
